Monique Ford has been with Stonestreet Studios for the last 5 years and has dedicated her professional career to arts education and management over the last twenty years. She previously served as the Art Director of visual and performing arts at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House and the Boys Club of New York, where she directed all visual and performing arts programming and events for youth and adults across a variety of genres. Prior to a leadership role, Monique taught studio art at leading arts organizations including the 92nd Street Y, Studio in a School, BRIC, Free Arts NYC, Brooklyn Historical Society, Katonah Museum of Art and Tribeca Community School. Over the course of her career Monique has been dedicated to program quality and equity. She values the holistic process of art making and thrives on collaboration among artists with different areas of expertise. Monique serves as the exhibition chair of the Katonah Museum Artist Association. Monique received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2003 from Plattsburgh State University. She received her Master of Fine Arts in 2006 from Pratt Institute.

Monique has won notable awards related to her professional career as a painter; these include Best in Show- 34th Annual Bedford Art Show and Best in Show- 57th Artists of the Northeast at the Silvermine Arts Center. Primarily exhibiting her work in the northeast, Monique has exhibited her work in the tri-state juried exhibit Line Describing a Cone at the Katonah Museum of Art, held a two-person show Shared Spaces at the Painting Center, she periodically exhibits at the Ceres Gallery in Chelsea and has recently been added to the permanent collection at the Copelouzos Family Art Museum in Athens, Greece.
