ReRUN
"There is a disturbance in the universe, someone got through..."
ReRUN, is a modern day twist on "It's A Wonderful Life" where George falls through the closet and ends up in today's world, grappling with a more youthful world, but with the ageless elements of choice, love, regret and re-imagining one's life and coming to terms with it.
Production for the modern day world is complete and post-production is almost done. In production is the FUTURE part of the film, when George is looking back, before he falls through the closet, and the end of the film when he returns from the that journey.
The film premiered at the 2018 Woodstock Film Festival where it was nominated for their prestigious Maverick Award. It screened as the opening night feature of the 2018 Big Apple Film Festival, at the 2018 Northeast Film Festival, and at the 2019 Los Angeles Film Festival, where it was awarded Best Narrative Feature, Best Ensemble, Best Featured Actor (Christopher Lloyd), Best Young Actor (Teo Rapp-Olson), Best Editing, Best Original Story (Gary O. Bennett), and honorable mention for Best Director (Alyssa Rallo Bennett). The film was also a semi-finalist in the Sydney Independent FF.

“Christopher Lloyd has added his warm, affecting presence to ReRun… [a] contemporary spin on It’s a Wonderful Life.”
“Veteran time traveler on screen Christopher Lloyd is at it once again in ReRun. Never disappointing, and in this case lending new meaning to the notion of ‘in the closet’ — though with more metaphysical implications.”
“Loved this film on so many levels. Such an innovative and unique concept, along with themes that speak volumes about the human spirit. Wonderfully directed by Alyssa Rallo Bennett, with amazing acting performances by the legendary Christopher Lloyd, as well as an incredibly talented young cast. A must see film for people of all ages!”
“This independent film touched on a variety of emotions and issues...this independent film kept me intrigued until the very end.”
“Touching without being cloying or manipulative, this great indie film takes a fresh and honest look at growing old and the choices we make through the eyes of George Benson (played young adeptly by a very charming Teo Rapp-Olson and old by the immensely talented Christopher Lloyd), who is given the chance to relive a critical day in his life thanks to his grandson’s magical closet. It’s a very honest assessment of how we look at our lives...”
“What a beautiful film; capturing love in all its many forms; lovers, family and friends. To be able to have one moment back in time to fix the one thing that haunts you? Christopher Lloyd and the entire cast provide warm and endearing performances in this interesting twist on ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’. A beautiful journey...”
“This film was done beautifully with so much passion, effort, and a cast of remarkable talent and motivation. ReRUN uniquely captures the struggles that face not only the intergenerational component of the film, but the true value of family. Bravo!”
“Enjoyed this tale which pays homage to classics ~ It’s a Wonderful Life and Narnia ~ but moves into quirky territory all its own, especially in holding a mirror up to the fractured nature of human relationships...leaving me wondering what if I can rewind the film of my life...”
“Lloyd gives a moving performance at the top and end of the film that brings us into the isolation haunting memories can leave you with - and how wonderful it is to have youth to drag you out of it - as his grandson catapults him to the past - where an amazing 20-something year old Lloyd counterpart turns in an incredible performance! Kudos to the director for getting sterling performances out of everyone from Lloyd to Rapp-Olsson.”
